An Israeli doctor who was accused of slandering a Palestinian who claimed that he was injured by IDF was just (February 14 2012) acquitted by French Supreme Court!
The Palestinian, Jamal al-Dura and his 12-year-old son Muhammad, became the symbol of the Al-Aqsa Intifada, when the two were caught in a fire exchange in the Netzarim Junction.
The boy was killed in the incident which triggered a blame game.
The Palestinians said that Israel was to blame for Muhammad’s death, while Israeli officials claimed he was hit by Palestinian fire.
The father, later showed the media scars that he said were incurred in the incident.
The claim prompted Dr. Yehuda David of Tel Hashomer Hospital to reveal that the scars were actually a result of a surgery the father had performed years earlier, after al-Dura was attacked by Hamas operatives who suspected him of collaborating with Israel.
Where It All Went Wrong For The Father
Al-Dura decided to sue David, and last year a Paris court ruled against the doctor due to the fact he released information from al-Dura’s medical records.
And the doctor was then ordered to compensate al-Dura with €13,000, but decided instead to appeal the ruling at the French Supreme Court instead.
"It couldn’t have turned out better",
Dr. Yehuda David told Ynet after the ruling was overturned,
"It means that I spoke the truth, and the father just lied. We managed to de-construct their false statements. All the scientific evidence that we collected for the past twelve years proves that the incident was staged and fake. They made up the father’s injury, and the IDF troops never shot the boy".
Dr. Yehuda David has recently begun raising funds to fight what he calls,
"The "Palestinian’s false anti-Israel propaganda",
and says that Israel’s Deputy Prime Minister Moshe Ya’alon has joined the find raising effort.

As a war of words between the Western and Iranian media escalates, Alireza Forghani, a staunch supporter of Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khameneiand, called on the Iranian regime to attack and annihilate Israel.
His article, entitled, "Iran Must Attack Israel by 2014", was published on February 4, 2012 on numerous pro-regime websites, and follows an article that he published a month ago praising jihad against the Americans and emphasizing the Iranians’ hope for a war in which they would die as martyrs.
Forghani’s latest article contains two parts.
The first expounds on the religious justifications, based on the Koran and the teachings of Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, obligating all Muslims to attack Israel for stealing Palestinian lands and aspiring to take over the rest of the Islamic lands between the Nile and the Euphrates.
And according to the author, such an attack is obligatory, whether as defensive jihad which is when Muslims are attacked by others, or as jihad in its basic sense which is holy war against infidels.
The second part of Forghani’s article provides a detailed operative overview of how Iran will carry out the attack against Israel.
He claims that Tehran is capable of annihilating Israel within less than nine minutes using its arsenal of missiles and by deploying operational combat units throughout the world.
The article specifies targets to be hit inside Israel, including nuclear facilities, air force bases and civilian infrastructure, as well as providing detailed profiles of the various missiles Iran will use, including Shahab 3, Sejjil, Ashura, and Ghadr missiles.
Forghani believes Iran must take advantage of the Islamic awakening sweeping the region, which he says has paved the way for Israel’s destruction.
He notes what he considers a passivity that he believes characterizes the U.S. and the West and also Ahmadinejad’s calls "to destroy Israel", and sets the deadline as 2014, which he says will be the end of Ahmadinejad’s presidency.
He says that Iran must launch a preemptive attack against Israel entailing heavy military strikes from start to finish.
Israel’s strategic points "must be totally annihilated" he says, and advises the regime to use its long-range missiles to this end, noting that the distance from the easternmost point of Iran to the westernmost point of Israel is 2,600 km, which he says is a range covered by conventional Iranian missiles.
