If you think that the US is in a terrible state financially, you’re right, because the US can’t pay the interest on its debts which is why those debts are getting bigger every second of every day.

But take a look at this slide-show and most likely be amazed.

Of the twenty countries listed, America is number twenty meaning that there are nineteen countries who owe much more of their GDP that it does.

And please note how the socialist countries are doing and perhaps cringe, knowing that this is the direction in which Obama would like to lead America.

I was very pleased to read the following, and although I do have at least two reservations, it did cause me to question my belief that the UK is not too far from being taken over by its Muslim population.

By "nearing" I mean about 20 -30 years.

The Wembley Rally

Thousands of Muslims held a rally in London on Saturday September 24, 2011 whose aim was, to fight extremism and to promote a moderate and more inclusive interpretation of Islam.

The event which was held at the Wembley arena was led by Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri,

who is a respected Pakistan-born Islamic scholar, who gained recognition outside the Muslim world after he published a detailed fatwa, or religious ruling, against terrorism and suicide bombings last year.

"I want to address those who are lost, who have a total misconception of jihad".

"And I want to send them a message to come back to normal life. Whatever you’re doing is totally against Islam",

he told the audience, which included many families with young children and students.

And it’s great to read that a Muslim cleric spoke in this way.

According to what I could find on the web, the arena which can hold 12,500 people was apparently full to capacity.

But there are approximately 1.6 million Muslims in the UK so where were the other 97.2% ?

The Extremists

Several Islamic scholars, including Tahir-ul-Qadri have warned that a power vacuum in North Africa and the Middle East could lead to militant and extremist groups gaining ground in upcoming elections caused by the so-called Arab Spring.

"If these elements come into power, it will be a big disaster",

Tahir-ul-Qadri told The Associated Press.

He said his message is,

"primarily aimed at people who are on the edge of being radicalized and not those who had already been brainwashed".

Reactions From The Audience

Members of the audience told the AP there is no easy way to persuade terrorist groups such as Al Qaeda to give up violence.

"People are looking for a cause, and the path of violence is the easiest one to take",

said Memoona Naushahi, a 20-year-old university student from Bradford in northern England.

"The message of the conference may reach only people who want to hear it",

she added.

But Naushahi and others participants said that promoting a uniting voice such as Tahir-ul-Qadri’s is a step in the right direction and can spread the right message.

Britain And Islamic Terror

Britain has been involved in some large international terror plots.

On July 7, 2005 four suicide bombers killed 52 people in synchronized attacks on London’s subway system and the men behind the 2006 trans-Atlantic liquid bomb plot began their plan in Britain.

My Second Reservation

I am genuinely pleased by this event but the lack of moderate Islamic voices all over the world still gives me cause for concern and some Muslim members of the UK Parliament have boasted that it’s only a matter of time before Muslims rule the Parliament and Sharia will be the law of the land.

This video shows Shahid Malik discussing the actions he took when he was International Development Minister.

He gave away over a Billion Pounds of the British tax payers money to Muslim countries.

He also looks forward to a day, “Inshallah” with god’s blessing, when Britain will have a Muslim prime minister.

Shahid Malik became Britain’s first Muslim MP with the Labour Party in 2005 and he remained in office until the Conservatives won the election for Dewsbury in 2010.
